SHAWN K. OHL
FOUNDER
Shawn K. Ohl has worked in the insurance industry as well as in private practice. Shawn has handled all aspects of litigating matters, from pre-suit negotiation through trial and appeal, with focused determination and keen awareness of his clients’ needs.
Shawn served as Deputy Legislative Counsel for the Legislative Counsel Bureau in Carson City, Nevada, where he drafted legislation for the Senate Judiciary Committee during the 73rd Session and 21st Special Session. This experience provided valuable insight into the legislative process and drafting at the state level while providing an in-depth insight into numerous Constitutional issues around state laws.
While in law school, Shawn interned with the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan and with then-Chief Judge Lawrence P. Zatkoff of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Living out his passion for learning and education, he has also served as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law teaching Research Writing and Advocacy, and Oakland Community College teaching Business Law.
